Community Embedded

Allium is located in Harvard Square, so students take frequent trips on foot to Harvard’s museums of natural history, anthropology, and art history to learn about the world and, in turn, themselves. The school library is the nearby main branch of the Cambridge Public Library, with its vast collection of print and digital resources. Teachers intentionally connect students with people in our diverse community; for example, students provide meals food to feed insecure neighbors at the weekly Friday Café across the Cambridge Common. Our students’ investment in their community builds a foundation for life-long civic participation, including the ability to navigate multiple perspectives, resolve conflicts, and create positive change.

Harvard Museums

of Science and Culture

Since our school is adjacent to Harvard's Law campus, these inspiring museums are less than a 10-minute walk away.
